Soup kitchen and breakfast service

Throughout the week our soup kitchen and breakfast services offer two meals a day to the most vulnerable people in our community.

Our breakfast services can be found at our Althorpe Street centre in Leamington every weekday, Monday to Friday, from 10.30am to 11.30am.

The soup kitchen offers a hot, nutritious evening meal there from Monday to Thursday, between 6.30pm and 7.30pm.

Powered by donations from our wonderful supporters, and served by our team of volunteers, we provide hundreds of hot meals every year for those who need them most. But the breakfast services and soup kitchen are about much more than food - they are about connection.

They offer a sense of community where individuals are warmly welcomed. Our clients feel they belong in the Helping Hands family where they can build trusting relationships as a platform for a positive future.

“A hand up, not a hand out,” is the ethos that underpins Helping Hands and we are committed to doing all we can to support service-users to fulfil their ambitions, or find them. Everybody that comes to us has skills and attributes – we love to uncover, rekindle and nurture those skills and attributes.

The soup kitchen and breakfast service, often the first point of call for our service-users, provide much-needed meals but can also be a springboard to a broader, brighter future.
