Donate Items

We are very grateful to our generous community for donating items that help the Helping Hands Community Project work!

With limited storage space however, we can only take items in good condition that we need to support our clients through our Soup Kitchen & Drop-in, the House2Home project or that we can sell in our shop to fund our work.

Our charity shop is currently closed. Please do not leave donations outside our shop while it is closed – thank you.

If you or someone you know would benefit from support from our charity in Leamington, Warwick & Kenilworth, get in touch or pop into The Lighthouse.

Give the gift of hope

Helping Hands Community Project is dependent on the generosity of local people and businesses. Our community support us with timemoney and practical assistance – without which we wouldn’t have the means to offer help to those who need it.

This year has stretched us to new levels. More people than ever have needed our help. Your help.

If you can, please donate to Helping Hands Community Project this Christmas because life can change for any one of us at any time.

Helping Hands Community Project coat drop is back for Winter

As the cold and wet weather continues, we are collecting warm clothes and coats to give out to our clients.

If your company or organisation would like to have the coat rail for a week as a drop-off point for your employees or the community, please get in touch.

Soup Kitchen & Drop-in

We provide the essentials for the homeless at our drop-ins.

Most needed:
Instant coffee, tea & takeaway cups.
Underwear – boxers, pants, socks, tracksuit bottoms, leggings
Sleeping bags

House2Home Project furniture to support people being rehomed or in need

House2Home

We provide furniture and household goods to recently homed and low-income families. Thank you to our generous community for providing these goods that our volunteers deliver to help turn empty houses into homes!

We are very grateful for the many offers of support, but we have very limited capacity at the moment due to the ongoing restrictions and limited storage space. We can only take items in good condition needed for the people referred to us in small homes that we do not already have in our limited storage space.

House2Home is not accepting donations at the moment – apart from specific requests which may be found on our Facebook.

When the service resumes: How to donate: Please e-mail details (size and photos) to Helpinghandslwkdonation@gmail.com. If the donations are soft furnishings please include a picture of the fire safety label and state if they are from a pet/smoke free home – thank you!
